White wines of Alto Adige

If you love white wine...try white wines from the Alto Adige region of Italy!

The region that is one of the smallest and most unconventional in Italy. Due to the long dominance of Austria, there are few ethnic Italians and German is spoken almost everywhere.

It is a unique combination of climate and landscape. Most of the vineyards grow at an altitude of 200-600 metres, and at such an altitude there is a sharp difference between day and night temperatures, which means that aromatics are better formed in the fruit and the acidity is more pronounced. How can wines with such origins not be interesting? White wines are made from chardonnay, pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, kerner, müller tourgau, pinot blanc, gewürztraminer...

They all have a fresh character, mineral acidity and a deep aromatic bouquet.

We encourage you to try authentic wines with unique character:

❤️ Our beloved Elena Valch makes the most vivid and memorable wines of different varieties. A favorite is the Chardonnay Riserva vigna Castel Ringberg 2019.

❤️ Dipoli Sudtirol Sauvignon Voglar, 2017 - notes of tropical fruits and exotic flowers.

❤️ Abbazia di Novacella Alto Adige Valle Isarco Kerner - authentically apricot-flavoured.

❤️ Cantina Nals Margreid, Nama, 2016 - rich, creamy, with aromas of honey, vanilla and almond.
